review of 1md.be - 1 million dollars creative bereau website

1md.be carries over their url's simplicity into the design and layout of their website to create something so simple but yet so effective. The websites homepage displays the 1md logo and then banners of work they have done for clients straight down the middle.

I think this is great because it negates the need to have text describing what they do or what they are about. They just let their work to the talking and it does it quite well. Many of the banners are quite eye catching and highly recognizable clients. Users may then click any of the banners to slickly have a drop down paragraph describe what the work is about and provide a link to a different website which hosts a video that gets into detail about the work. It all works so seamlessly and makes navigating 1md's work a breeze.

The website however does have an "about" page- which is just as simple and has a fantastic description of who the Millionaires are. Check it out -

The Millionaires

We are sexy, rich and almost famous. We are looking for creative challenges a lot of money. We have complementary skills (blogger, motion design, creative concepts and many more), that make us unique and wonderful. If you don't believe it, just challenge us with impossible projects!

On the website Create challenges is scratched out and a lot of money is red and underlined. I love this honest carefree confident attitude that displays 1md humor and style.

As for the work itself; it was all slick and very well art directed with a clean but yet grungy feel to a lot of their projects. Their projects range from games to 3D animation with a lot of flash websites in between. They have a good sense of humor with much of their work and it all looks great.

1md.be also has a blog on their website which has links to music they like, movies work they have done and all round funny writings and rantings.

Ladies and gentleman check out this website - I was inspired and will definitely look at some of their creative techniques when working on web projects of my own.
